The wisdom of Generations

The Generations pathway honors that we are each born with innate wisdom and we each develop lived wisdom with decades of experience.

ILF is building a Young Person’s Advisory Council as part of our governance and creative endeavors. The Young Person’s Advisory Council will walk side-by-side with our Board of Directors, also known as people with “Decades of Experience”. Through this revolutionary program, multiple generations of people participate in creating and overseeing courses, projects and development of resources. 

Consciousness is changing. Humanity is changing. Wisdom of experience and elder perspectives can build incredible structures, but the people born after 1990 are the first and only humans who have never known a world without internet. The internet is a profound influence on human consciousness, not just in the debate about whether it is a positive or negative influence, but because it fundamentally changes the way people think about life on our planet, how to find and use information, and the limitlessness of creativity. ILF sees an opportunity to educate and nourish young creators, their caring adults, teachers and family about the simplicity of our innate technology side-by-side with the externalized technology of AI and silicon-based tools. When we educate each other on the realm of intuitive or “felt” information, it can be like recovering our first language, the language we share with all of life on this planet.
